Could the Seattle Mariners still have a chance to get Adrian Gonzalez?

Author: I saw an article that said Adrian isn’t untouchable this offseason and it sounds like the mariners are talking to the padres. Could it happen? Also an article today said the mariners are possibly after Adam laroche. What about that happening?

No one has a shot at him fr 1 1/2 years… if SD doesn’t redo his contract before then or figure out a way to keep him on the open market…
Jed Hoyer isn’t an idiot, and he won’t trade Adrian until the trade deadline a year and a half from now… that’s when he will have the most value fr a team looking for that extra chip… maybe they consider it next year if Gonzales expresses interest.
Fr a club that want’s to keep under 40 mil, a guy like Gonzales is a must keep. He isn’t for trade, there is a lot of smoke and mirrors right now in the rumor mill.
Maybe they are interested in LaRoche… that makes sense… I would give Mike Carp a shot if I was them.
